Moving Columns and Rows

Moving from cell to cell can be done in two ways.

1. Pressing the TAB key will move the cursor from one cell to the next cell on the right. PressingSHIFT+TAB will move the cursor from one cell to the next cell on the left.

2. Holding down the CTRL key and pressing the arrow keys will move the cursor in the direction of the arrow key that is pressed

Moving A Column   

Click and drag on the column information header where the column number is located, move the column to the new location.

Moving A Row

Click and drag on the row number, move the row to the new location.

Deleting A Column

To delete a column, press CTRL and click on the column information header. Select Delete column from the popup menu.

To delete a row, press CTRL and click on the row number. Select Delete row from the popup menu.

Sorting Rows By Column

Fig 111MRows can be sorted by column by pressing CTRL and clicking on the column header name cell. This is useful when sorting rows alphabetically or numerically. Sorting options are explained further in the Sorter window section of this manual.
