The Matchup
Oregon vs. USC
Saturday night, Oregon and USC will battle it out in one of the most highly anticipated Big Ten games of the young season.
On one side stands Oregon, already with a loss to its name. The Ducks have struggled up front and haven’t fully clicked offensively in a meaningful matchup. Could that change this weekend?
Then there’s USC, a program that’s been building for this moment. It’s taken a few years, but Lincoln Riley’s bunch appears poised to finally make a run at the College Football Playoff.
Although the USC defense has been up-and-down, we have seen some individual brilliance.
One player who’s been on fire to start the season is Trojans’ freshman defensive lineman Luke Wafle. Wafle was a prized, five-star recruit out of high school, and he’s hit the ground running through four games in 2026.
Wafle’s been a menace in the run game, notching a 5.3% Stuff Percentage and generating double-digit havoc events over four games. Could he be one of the keys to the Trojans getting Oregon’s Dante Moore off balance?
The Radar
BYU WR Legend Glasker
Do we have an early Newcomer of the Year nominee in college football?
It certainly seems that way. ICYMI, BYU’s freshman standout, Legend Glasker, is living up to his name through three games.
He has an insane 91.7% catch percentage, averages 24.7 yards per reception and has essentially maxed out his radar. Just look at that thing!
BYU looks like a Top 10 team right now, and a big reason why is the emergence of Glasker and the revitalized passing game.
There are plenty of excellent receivers in college football this season. But don’t sleep on Glasker. He’s making waves three games into his career and looks to be a MAJOR problem for Big 12 secondaries.
The Player to Watch
Florida RB Jadan Baugh
After a big-time performance against Auburn last week, the spotlight is on Florida running back Jadan Baugh.
Through three games, Baugh has shown some highlight-reel abilities, especially when it comes to breaking tackles. He’s posted a 0.38 EPA/Rush figure, alongside a 56.9% Broken Tackle percentage.
Last week, LSU tallied 172 rushing yards at 4.0 yards per carry against the Ole Miss defense. Keep an eye out for Baugh to get touches early and often as the Gators try to spring an upset.
