Lincoln, Neb. – 23 July 2026 – Hudl, the global leader in sports performance analysis and scouting, has announced a new multi-year rights agreement with the Japan Professional Football League, adding the newly established U.21 J.League to their existing partnership.
The agreement covers the U.21 J.League, a competition created to provide players aged 19 to 21 with a dedicated, year-round professional playing environment. The competition begins this autumn and will have 11 participating clubs. Video and data from these matches will be made available for professional purposes via Hudl Wyscout, the world's largest database of football video and data.
"Extending our J.League partnership to include the U.21 J.League is a natural next step," said Alex Bishop, account executive at Hudl. "This competition has been built around the development of young Japanese talent, and having coverage from day one means scouts and clubs can follow that generation of players as they progress."
This marks the second agreement signed between the two parties this year, following a multi-year contract for the 100 Year Vision League, J1, J2, J3, Cup, Play-Offs and Super Cup matches.
