You can now get AI-powered scripting at the click of a button. Describe what you want your script to do, ask why something isn't working, or build one from scratch — the new AI Chat guides you through it in plain language.
The chat can be accessed through the Chat button in the Script Editor window, or via the Help menu: Help > Scripting > Chat.
What's Improved?
Basketball games opened from the Competition Database now include Offensive and Defensive team labels in the full game row.
Restoring a playlist to an earlier version replaces its contents for good, so the confirmation before a restore now always appears. If you'd previously hidden it, you'll see it again — one last check before an irreversible change.
What's Fixed?
When you send clips to a playlist while you're viewing an earlier version of it, the clips now land on the current version instead of being turned away. A message lets you jump straight to the current version to see them.
When you preview or restore an earlier version of a playlist, each clip now keeps its correct Start time, Timeline, and Original Instance. Previously these could show blank or the wrong value, even when the same clip still had them in the current version.
The clip zoom slider in a playlist's Organizer could end up on top of the "add slide" button — when the data panel was dragged narrow in the "Data Right" layout, when the window was made narrow in "Data Below", or when the slide-title column was widened. The zoom controls now sit beside the footer buttons in the same row instead of overlapping them, so the add-slide button is always clickable.
File → Export Video and File → Export as CSV are now disabled while you're viewing a Version History snapshot preview, matching the toolbar.
While reviewing a past version of a playlist in Sorter view, you could still delete clips with the menu or the delete key. Deleting is now blocked when you're viewing a past version, so the version you're looking at can't be changed by accident.
In the Find window, searching a playlist while you preview an earlier version in Version History showed the results as "Untitled" and stopped you from sending them to a new playlist. Find now uses the playlist's current version, so the results are named correctly and you can send them as usual.
After pausing and resuming a capture, the timeline clock could jump around and show the wrong time while you scrubbed through footage recorded after the pause. It now stays accurate and steady.
In Version History, previewing an earlier version of a playlist that links to its source video used to play a black screen for every clip. It now plays the correct camera angle from the right position.
The time shown while scrubbing an earlier version now matches the video.
Opening a version from a playlist's Version History, or switching between versions, no longer briefly flashes the current version's footage before the one you picked appears. The video area now shows a loading state until the selected version is ready.
When reviewing a read-only snapshot preview of a playlist, Rename and Move… appeared in the File menu as if they would work. They now appear greyed out, so the menu reflects what you can actually do in preview mode.
