Made 'from source' recordings on RTP/SDP feeds (when possible) are no longer re-encoded.
Capturing from RTP and SDP broadcast feeds (including H.265 HDR sources) is now more reliable. We've added buffer tuning so video plays back cleanly under packet bursts.
When an incoming HEVC feed has to be re-encoded during capture, the recording is now saved as HEVC instead of being silently converted to H.264, preserving the original codec quality.
What's Fixed?
We've resolved an issue where clips in exported playlists could drift further out of sync as the playlist progressed. Slide timings now stay accurate from the first clip to the last.
Previously, 10-bit HEVC streams could display with green tinting or vertical striping on Apple Silicon when hardware decoding fell back to software. Affected streams now play back correctly.
