Fall ‘26 Hudl Football: Live Updates
An inside look at what’s changing, and why.
Coaches love Classic. As we built tons of new capabilities over the past few years, we learned just how important those Classic workflows and layouts still are. And it’s what kept many coaches from leaning fully into the new Hudl experience. So our focus now is familiarity.
That distinction matters. When Greg Nelson, the President of Youth, Club and High School Sports for Hudl, sat in our regular product review meetings earlier this summer, what sold him wasn’t a new feature. It was the workflow. Playlists where they’re supposed to be. The same folder tree. Video top left, library on the right, grid on the bottom — the layout you’ve spent years building your Sundays around, right where you expect it, remembering where you left off. Once the view was familiar, Nelson could see how all the new capabilities were truly unlocked. Nelson knew what coaches would be excited to see, because in addition to his role at Hudl, he’s coached football for nearly 20 years.
We took the best parts of Classic and built something better on top of it — and that’s where things get exciting.
- Reports live next to your video now — break down third down and watch your run-pass ratio and conversion rate update live on the right side of your screen while you work. No second window required. No re-running anything. The video player expands to a second monitor.
- Faster speeds are now at your fingertips, making it easier to get through a film cut-up.
- More sorting and filtering options in the grid than Classic ever had.
- Plus, one-click tendency reports that tie directly to your video and filter the grid as you go.
And then there’s the stuff Classic will never have. Titan ties athlete performance data to video — so now you can show a kid the four verts where he hit 19.7 MPH on his film right in his account, not a screenshot you texted him. Plus, with new AI scouting reports, you can surface your opponent’s top five tendencies before you run a single report.
We’ve built the most trusted football platform over 20 years by listening to coaches, constantly improving and pushing ourselves to deliver. We’re not stopping here, and we’re excited to bring our football community along.
