Learn how to get the most out of your match film using the Video Player. We’ll cover how to navigate through your footage, apply filters, utilize AI features, and share key moments with athletes and coaches.
Once your video is uploaded, it’s automatically broken down using our AI. Each rally is processed and tagged with key details, so you can spend less time scrubbing and more time analyzing.
If you’ve used Balltime previously, you can access previously-uploaded video by going to the Library tab. When you open the Video Player, your film is already organized and ready to review. Use the filters to instantly find moments that match exactly what you're looking for—whether it’s kills, service errors, or a specific rotation.
This built-in breakdown provides a streamlined starting point for any film session—whether you’re scouting, reviewing, or building teaching clips.
Once you’ve found what you need, take advantage of tools like commenting, tagging athletes, drawing directly on the video, and screen recording to provide clear feedback. You can also star key moments or add them to playlists and highlights to make reviewing and sharing more efficient.
The video player includes advanced AI features designed to give you deeper insights without extra work. These tools bring your film to life, connecting what you see with what’s really happening on the court.
Trajectories
Visualize how the ball moves throughout each rally. Trajectories analyze key details frame-by-frame, showing the full path of each serve, reception, set or dig.
Overlays
Court overlays add visual context right on top of your film:
Court Overlay is an aerial view of the court showing the placement of your action from a whole new perspective.
Speed Overlay shows the tempo and velocity of your action.
Attack Height Overlay displays how high attackers are contacting the ball.
