- What is actually included in the Department-Wide Package?
Every team at your institution gets access to video, analysis, and recruiting tools—at minimum. The package also includes automated cameras, game breakdowns for all your sports (including baseball and softball), livestreaming for fans, and a single invoice for your whole department. Higher tiers add more storage, advanced analytics, and a dedicated Customer Success Manager who checks in regularly. Your rep will walk you through exactly what’s at each level.
- Is the Department-Wide Package more affordable than buying sport-by-sport?
In most cases, significantly so. Schools already paying for multiple individual team subscriptions often find they can consolidate into a department-wide package, get more tools, and spend less — sometimes substantially less. - What if we want to add a sport or tool down the road?
No problem. Additional programs and tools can typically be prorated and added to your existing agreement, so you’re still working from one invoice. At renewal, it’s also easy to upgrade or expand. Your rep can walk you through options any time.
- What happens if we cut a program?
The department package is structured as an all-in agreement—you’re not charged per sport. So if your department runs fewer programs in a given year, your price stays the same. The upside: any new program you add is automatically covered.
- We have individual team subscriptions — can we transition to a department package?
Yes, and it’s one of the more common paths to a department package. Many schools come to us managing three, four, or more separate contracts and find that consolidating is both simpler and more cost-effective. Existing contracts can often be credited toward the new agreement. Your rep will map out what the transition looks like for your specific setup.
- Are multi-year contracts available?
Yes. Multi-year contracts are available and often come with price locks, giving your department predictable costs and protection against future increases. Several conferences have also worked with Hudl on regional deals covering multiple schools. Talk to your rep to explore what a multi-year agreement could look like.
- Why don't you show pricing?
