LINCOLN, NEB. — August 21, 2026 — Hudl today announced the launch of its inaugural AD Council, bringing together 10 high school athletic directors from across the country to collaborate directly with executive leadership. Hudl, the global leader in sports performance analysis and video technology, will work alongside council members to shape the future of athletic technology and streamline high school department operations.
"High school athletic directors are the foundation of scholastic sports, navigating immense operational complexity every day," said Hudl President of Club, Youth and High School Greg Nelson. "Technology decisions are too often made without the input of the administrators running these programs. The AD Council ensures we’re connecting directly with leaders on the ground so every solution we build, from video analysis to department management, solves their biggest challenges and elevates their programs."
Athletic directors manage tight budgets, complex multi-sport schedules, and evolving compliance requirements while supporting coaches, student-athletes, and families. The Hudl AD Council embeds active high school leaders directly into Hudl's product roadmapping process. Council members will convene throughout the year to share operational feedback, surface industry challenges, and directly inform Hudl’s product roadmap.
The inaugural Hudl AD Council cohort includes:
Brandon Clark – Nixa High School (MO)
Lyle Fedders – Ames High School (IA)
Peter Goff – DeKalb High School (IL)
Jennifer Keane – Wantagh High School (NY)
Craig McKinney – Marietta High School (GA)
Shaun McDowell – Grand Oaks High School (TX)
Shelley Moore – Newport High School (OR)
Brian Phelps – Indian Hill High School (OH)
Ben Sherman – Forest Hills Northern High School (MI)
Anthony Thomas – San Francisco University High School (CA)
Every conversation and insight generated by these 10 leaders will help prioritize features, refine software workflows, and shape how Hudl serves high school athletic departments nationwide.
