Video exchange and analysis tools will be implemented across six New South Wales Rugby League competitions.

Hudl is pleased to announce a new partnership with the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL).

The agreement will make Hudl the primary provider of performance analysis solutions for the organisation and further enhances the NSWRL’s commitment to player and team development. In November, the NSWRL announced plans to develop a new NSWRL Centre of Excellence in an effort to “ensure the longevity and future success of Rugby League” in New South Wales.

NSWRL now joins hundreds of elite sporting programs across the globe that use Hudl's Sportscode for real-time game review (including State of Origin), match preparation, performance reviews, selection criteria and player development.

“Hudl tools allow all league teams to analyse player trends and performances, making planning our future training sessions and game preparation more efficient,” said NSWRL General Manager-Football, BJ Mather. “Players, coaches and referees are better able to communicate ways they can improve since the video analysis tools uncover key insights that may be missed on the field.”

Hudl’s league exchange and storage solutions will be a fixture at all NSWRL competitions:

  • Intrust Super Premiership NSW
  • Ron Massey Cup
  • Sydney Shield Cup
  • SG Ball
  • Harold Matthews Cup
  • Tarsha Gale Cup

“We are so excited to partner with the NSWRL,” said Brad Verrills, Rugby League Sales Manager at Hudl. "Not only in the short-term by helping them bring back that Origin shield, but working with the NSWRL Centre of Excellence to help develop and nurture young Rugby League talent throughout the state.”
