LINCOLN, Neb., 4 November 2026 – Hudl, the global leader in sports performance analysis and scouting, today announced a multi-year preferred partnership with Atavus Football, a tackling education and consulting company.
Atavus will be an official Hudl Preferred Partner, and Hudl will be Atavus’s preferred video analysis and auto capture solution. The partnership brings the Hudl Focus Point LR, Hudl’s new end-zone camera, into the Atavus Tackle Performance Assessment (TPA), adding another angle for evaluating tackling.
“We’re excited to partner with Hudl to give coaches a real edge where it matters most: on the field and on the film,” said Kerry Carter, CEO of Atavus. “Hudl’s new end-zone camera provides the angle our team needs to evaluate tackling at a deeper level, so we can turn around Tackle Performance Assessments faster and with more usable detail for coaches and players. We’re making it easier for programs to upgrade both their video and their tackling insights at the same time. This is the start of a long-term collaboration with Hudl to help coaches build better, safer, and more competitive football programs.”
Atavus uses a patented, data-driven process designed to support player safety and team performance. Its Tackle Performance Assessments work alongside Hudl film and data, and Hudl’s video analysis and auto capture technology, including the Focus Point LR, provides the footage that Atavus evaluates.
“Atavus brings deep expertise in tackling that complements the film and data coaches already use in Hudl,” said Rachel Krasnow, head of strategic partnerships at Hudl. “We’re excited to renew our partnership to reach our mutual goal of supporting and elevating safer, competitive football programs across the country. With their foundations in tackling paired with our new Focus Point LR end-zone camera, we can provide programs a clearer view of tackling and a practical way to coach it.”
