Lincoln, Nebraska, 13 June 2025: Hudl, a global leader in sports performance analysis and scouting, and the Asian Football Confederation, the organizing body of global football for Asia, have signed a multi-year scouting rights agreement.
This five-season agreement spans the 2024–25 to 2028–29 seasons and includes: AFC Asian Qualifiers, AFC Asian Cup, AFC Women’s Asian Cup, AFC U23 Asian Cup, AFC U20 Asian Cup, AFC U17 Asian Cup, AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup, AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup, AFC Champions League Elite, AFC Champions League Two and AFC Women’s Champions League.

“This agreement is a major step forward for clubs, national teams, and analysts across Asia and beyond,” said Hudl’s Mateo Bourrut Lacouture. “With the AFC overseeing all top club competitions and the AFC Asian Qualifiers in the region, having full AFC coverage on Wyscout ensures that teams can access high-quality video and data for both scouting and in-depth performance analysis of the AFC Competitions. This will empower clubs and federations to make more informed decisions, enhance player development, and elevate the level of competition.”
Datuk Seri Windsor John, the AFC General Secretary, said, “Data analytics and technology have become an integral part of modern football in recent years, and the AFC is pleased to sign this scouting rights agreement with Hudl.”
“This strategic arrangement will not only enhance our data and statistical collection but will also empower our coaches and technical staff with access to more detailed and in-depth information, which in turn will elevate their analytical and scouting capabilities.”
Patrick Murphy, CEO of AFG said, "The most powerful innovation happens where technology meets tradition. That’s why we’re excited to announce this new scouting rights agreement with Hudl.
