Lincoln, NE - August 24, 2023 - This fall, Hudl, a leader in global sports technology, is featuring the nation’s best high school athletic programs, players and student-led streams in a weekly livestreamed matchup series as it launches new tools to support schools in reaching their fans across the country.

From Georgia to California, the weekly Must-See Matchups on Hudl will bring Friday night lights to a screen near you, highlighting some of the greatest high school rivalry games of the season.

“There’s nothing like Friday nights in the fall. And when it’s an in-state rivalry, the excitement is at an all-time high! We’re excited to partner with high school athletic directors, coaches, their athletes and students to share these Must-See Matchups with more fans from across the country,” shared Ben Kant, Hudl’s head of streaming.

The Must-See Matchups on Hudl are one part of the new suite of fan engagement tools recently launched by Hudl to support high schools with everything their fans need in one place. Each school has a dedicated profile providing their community with one place to follow their favorite local teams’ livestreams, scores, rosters and athlete highlights.

These new resources empower each school to easily offer their fans and communities more ways to engage, and follow the journeys of their favorite teams and athletes. Schools with Hudl now have access to even more cutting-edge tools that directly connect to their existing Hudl solutions making it easier than ever to connect with their community and deepen fan loyalty and support.

“If you aren’t livestreaming, you’re missing a chance to build a stronger sense of community. We want to give athletic directors, coaches, and athletes even more ways to win with their fans,” said Hudl’s SVP and General Manager Greg Nelson. “With everything in one place; rosters, streams, scores, highlights and tickets, we’re excited to empower schools to deepen engagement with their fans and further rally their supporters.”

Fans can visit fan.hudl.com to search for their favorite school and see what’s happening across the school and among individual teams. Users are able to see each team’s schedule and roster, watch highlights and tune into livestreams of matches, all in one online destination.
