Hudl Partners With Sports Interactive to Fuel Next-Generation Football Recruitment Data
Lincoln, Nebraska — 2 July, 2026 — Hudl, the global leader in sports performance technology, today announced an exclusive partnership with Sports Interactive (SI), the studio behind Football Manager. With this arrangement, Hudl becomes SI's exclusive provider for event data and physical metrics for their new professional football intelligence platform, FMDB Pro. The two-way data-sharing agreement will further enrich the Hudl Wyscout player and staff database, introducing new data assets to the Hudl ecosystem that directly benefit Hudl customers and recruitment teams globally.
In addition, Hudl Wyscout is natively integrated into FMDB Pro. In one click, recruitment teams who subscribe to Hudl Wyscout will be able to move from FMDB Pro’s human-led qualitative player evaluation directly into the player’s profile page within the Wyscout platform. FMDB Pro combines Sports Interactive's proprietary football intelligence, developed through its global network of expert evaluators, with Hudl's event data and physical metrics.
The integration of SI's database introduces new data points that layer onto Hudl's existing football intelligence. The addition of SI's staff database will also enable clubs to perform more thorough recruitment processes in their search for backroom staff that match their criteria.
Beyond staff recruitment, integrating SI’s player robust player database provides recruitment teams with financial context to instantly assess the affordability and feasibility of players on their long- and shortlists.
Ty Chin, GM of Elite Football at Hudl, said: "We are pleased to partner with the team at Sports Interactive. This multi-faceted collaboration allows both organizations to leverage their unique data assets, creating a more comprehensive foundation for football professionals globally. At Hudl, we’re always committed to delivering fresh recruitment perspectives that help teams find the best talent, and ensure every athlete and coach gets the shot they deserve."
Richard Trafford, Business Development Director at Sports Interactive, said: “We’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with Hudl. Having been part of their team for several years before joining SI, I know they’re the very best at what they do in the event data and analysis space. Bringing Hudl onboard is a key step in FMDB Pro becoming the industry-leading product we believe it can be, offering a direct link from human evaluation and initial longlisting into data modelling and scouting.”
