DFL and Hudl Renew Collaboration for Scouting Rights

1 min Read

Lincoln, Nebraska, 9 October - The DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga, the German Football League, and Hudl, a global leader in sports performance analysis and scouting, have announced a renewal of their collaboration for scouting rights to its competitions.

The multi-season agreement that starts from this season includes rights to the Bundesliga, 2. Bundesliga, DFL-Supercup and the Relegation Play-Offs. Hudl will gain access to all related video from these competitions, which will be made available for professional purposes via Wyscout—the world's largest database of football video and data.

Hudl’s renewal of the German Bundesliga scouting rights means that all of the big five top-tier European leagues, in addition to UEFA and FIFA competitions, are now under contract, with all of their content available on Hudl’s platforms.

“Renewing our agreement with the DFL is fantastic,” said Daniel Horlock, Hudl’s Director of Rights and Partnerships. “Our mission is to equip coaches, players and teams with advanced analytical solutions. This long-term collaboration opens doors for us to have an even bigger impact in the German football market.”
