Hudl and FootballClub Partner to Bring Pro-Level Video Technology to Grassroots Football in Andalusia

2 min Read

Hudl has joined forces with FootballClub, a Spanish sports broadcasting platform specialising in amateur football, to power a major digital transformation of football in Andalusia.

Together, the companies will equip the Real Federación Andaluza de Fútbol (RFAF) and its member clubs with cutting-edge video and data solutions, to make elite-level technology more accessible to teams and players across the region.

This groundbreaking collaboration will establish PlayRFAF, an innovative streaming initiative that brings professional-level video coverage and data analysis opportunities to hundreds of stadiums throughout the region – representing a major step forward in the modernization of grassroots football in Andalusia.

As part of the agreement, Hudl will provide Focus Flex AI-powered portable cameras for the capture and broadcast of official competitions – giving teams and players greater visibility, while promoting safer match environments – with FootballClub responsible for production and distribution of audiovisual content.

Hudl Focus Flex cameras will enable automatic filming of matches without the need for camera operators, ensuring comprehensive coverage and pro-level output accessible at every level of the game. This collaboration with FootballClub will therefore create a seamless solution that provides teams with a high-performance audiovisual infrastructure, without requiring large investments or complex equipment.

By leveraging footage recorded with Focus Flex, clubs will be able to transform raw video into actionable insights for tactical analysis, player development, and coaching practices through the use of integrated tools such as Hudl and Hudl Assist.

The initiative also supports the creation of verified player profiles that can be shared with scouts and professional clubs, opening pathways for local talent to gain visibility at higher levels of the game.

“This partnership is a powerful example of how video and data can elevate every level of the game,” said Ty Chin, GM of Elite Football at Hudl. “By combining Hudl’s AI-powered video and performance tools with the forward-thinking vision of RFAF and FootballClub, we’re making elite-level analysis and visibility accessible to grassroots clubs across Andalusia. It's a model for how federations can invest in their future through innovation.”

“This represents a significant leap forward in the digitalization of Andalusian football,” said FootballClub General Manager, Jose Sánchez. “Being part of this pioneering and uniquely Andalusian project is a huge motivation to continue working for the type of football we began supporting several years ago.”
