Hudl elite users will now be able to see which members of their team are engaging with video.

Team admins can download a report that shows who has watched a video or playlist, when and how long for. With this you’ll be able to see which videos are proving popular and which athletes are completing any tasks you set.

Product Manager, Prad Patel, said: “This has been a popular feature request for a while now and with the latest version of Hudl we’re now able to confidently and accurately track this information and share it with teams.

“We’ve had over 100 teams trialing this reporting and it’s been great to see the impact it’s already having. The feedback has been really positive and we’re confident that all elite users are going to really see huge benefits from this.”

To see an activity report login to hudl.com and select the team you wish to review. From the team drop-down menu click on ‘activity.’ If you don’t see this option then reach out to your account manager.

In the new screen, choose the date range you wish to see activity for. Select one of the presets such as last 7 days or last 30 days, or a custom date range of up to 60 days. When you’ve selected your date range, click download and a report will be downloaded on to your computer as a CSV file.

Import into any spreadsheet software to see a full list of who has watched which video and when over the date range you selected.

You can then manipulate this data and add filters to see just the information that you need.

The data refreshes each day at 00:00 GMT.

Prad added: “We know how important accuracy is for teams and have undertaken extensive trialling of this to make sure teams can be completely confident in the data.

“We’re excited to release the first version of this feature and look forward to further enhancements that are to come.”
