This 58-page issue has a strong focus on how some of the world’s most forward-thinking teams use technology to stay connected and compete at the highest level of their respective sports.

To touch on the theme of staying connected to stay ahead, we report on how the Belgian Pro League and RBFA are using the latest Hudl 4K cameras and analysis software to capture every angle of matches across all professional clubs and national teams at every level. This groundbreaking deal is a first in world football.

“It’s essential, for an analyst, for a coach, for a team, for a player, to access the latest technology,” said Belgium National Team Manager Roberto Martinez. “It allows you to be at the forefront of being part of a high-performance environment.”

Among other stories, we also report from Belgrade where we visited Crvena Zvezda, learned from the record record-breaking Loughborough University, heard the Olympic dreams of Team GB Hockey and took a tactical lesson from Bundesliga heavyweights Borussia Monchengladbach.

Finally, look out for our pro tips on how to best coach in remote situations - a problem all of us in the world of sports are trying to address right now.
