Jim McClurg is the president of Technical Development Resources Company, a consulting and investment firm in Lincoln, Neb. Jim is a past member of the University of Nebraska Board of Regents and chairman of that board, and also serves on the board of directors for Assurity Life Insurance of Lincoln, Neb., Streck of Omaha, Neb., and The Smithers Group of Akron, Ohio. He is the Chairman of Cancer Center Development Corporation of Omaha. Jim recently retired from his position as the senior vice president and chief scientific officer of MDS Pharma Services.
Steve Brown
Chairman and Co-Founder, Catch; Director and Producer, ”Spark: A Burning Man Story”
Steve Brown is an entrepreneur and advisor to innovative media and tech ventures that empower people to pursue their passion. He is director and producer of “Spark: A Burning Man Story,” a documentary feature premiering at SXSW 2013. Brown is co-founder and Chairman of Catch.com, a mobile applications company focused on creative collaboration. Before Catch, Brown was founder and CEO of Health Hero Network, a pioneer of personal health monitoring and now a division of Bosch. Brown also serves on the board of Music Prodigy, an intuitive tablet application for music instruction. As a creative innovator, Brown has been an inventor on over 160 US patents. Brown graduated with honors from Stanford University in 1991 with a B.S. in physics.

Mike Dunlap is the chairman, CEO, and founder of Nelnet (NYSE: NNI), headquartered in Lincoln, Neb. Nelnet is one of the leading education planning and education finance companies in the U.S. Mike is currently a member of the board of directors for Union Bank and Trust Company, and also serves as a director and co-president of Farmers & Merchants Investment, Inc., the parent of Union Bank and Trust Company. Mike serves on Lincoln’s 2015 Vision Group, which is actively involved in promoting the development of Nelnet’s and Hudl’s hometown.

Jeff Raikes is the CEO of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He leads the foundation’s efforts to promote equity for all people around the world. He sets strategic priorities, monitors results, and facilitates relationships with key partners for all four program areas. Before joining the foundation, Jeff was a member of Microsoft’s senior leadership team, which sets overall strategy and direction for the company. Jeff was president of the Microsoft Business Division and oversaw the Information Worker, Server & Tools Business and Microsoft Business Solutions groups.

Adam Gouttierre is a product manager for Microsoft Advertising on the Windows Live team. Prior to joining Microsoft, Adam earned his master's degree in business administration from the University of California-Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree in finance and global studies from Rockhurst College. Adam previously served as the Director of Strategic Planning for technology startup Nanonation in Lincoln, Neb.
Clay Smith
General Partner, Speedway Properties; President, Speedway Motors
As a co-founder and general partner, Clay leads the Speedway Properties team and is also President of Speedway Motors. Clay earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University, graduating with distinction. He went on to earn his master’s degree in industrial engineering and engineering management from Stanford University. Prior to re-joining Speedway on a full-time basis, Clay worked with the Booz Allen & Hamilton consulting firm in New York City and the Hellman & Friedman investment banking firm in San Francisco. Clay is active throughout Nebraska, having served on dozens of community and state-wide boards. He currently serves as a Deputy Chair of the Nebraska Educational Telecommunications Commission, is a member of UNL’s College of Business Administration Advisory Board and Sheldon Advisory Board and is a member of the Knights of Aksarben Counsel.
Duane Thomas

Duane Thomas has spent over 25 years as an executive officer and board member of a U. S. corporate holding company, and has formerly served as the chairman of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. Duane currently serves as the President of Valentino’s of America, the franchisor of more than 40 Valentino’s pizza locations and take-out shops in six Midwestern states.
