Who: Zach Kerker, Director of Digital Sports Development at Neuhoff Media

The Story: Kerker considers himself to be “an old TV affiliate sports guy”, but he’s a lot more than that to the community he reaches through his Channel1450.com website. He’s someone who connects sports fans, celebrates local athletes and educates coaches on how to produce effective game plans.

Kerker produces weekly sports shows centered around high schools athletes that participate in football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, soccer, softball, track and wrestling. You name it, his team probably covers it.

Always one to be involved in sports, Kerker also works for the Illinois High School Sports Association as a sideline reporter.

“I’m tired of hearing about how lost and worthless our younger generations currently are. I see kids accomplish amazing things by overcoming crazy things every day and they do that because they work their butts off, put in the time and they’re good teammates. Those kinds of people become good leaders and major contributors to society. I’m inspired when I see that being developed and I want to share those stories with the masses.” – Zach Kerker
