Hudl 100: Highlighting Key Players in Sports & Technology

The world of sports is brimming with inspirational figures. Take a minute to help us celebrate the 100 most deserving individuals, teams and organizations of the year.

“Sport has the power to change the world.” – Nelson Mandela

The transformative and unifying power of sports can inspire communities and empower individuals from all walks of life.

How else do you explain every citizen in Iceland tuning in to see their national soccer team upset England in this year’s Euro Cup? Or LeBron James and company turning a city’s mentality on its head by putting an end to decades of sports misery

From youth sports to the highest levels of competition, Hudl has helped teams and athletes win by providing them with the tools to improve. What we’ve learned over the past decade is that the sports community is brimming with stories of triumph and inspiration. But these stories aren’t exclusive to professional franchises and senior national teams.

They’re happening in your neighborhood – driven by people just like you.

To spotlight these achievements, we’re profiling 100 individuals, teams and organizations that have recently made a significant impact in at least one of the following principles we value most at Hudl:

  1. Educate – you help teams and athletes improve through instruction
  2. Celebrate – you publicly acknowledge successes achieved through sports
  3. Inspire –  you motivate the sports community to take a desired action

How did we decide on the 100 profiles to be included in this feature?

It wasn’t easy. We surveyed Hudl employees and select members of the sports community for nominations, ultimately featuring the 100 nominees with the most votes across the following categories:

  • Coaches & Administrators
  • Athletes
  • Organizations & Associations
  • Teams
  • Data Analysts & Video Coordinators
  • Sports Media
  • Technology

Now, we’re thrilled to present to you the first ever Hudl 100.
