Lesson 3: Upload & Submit

Understand how it works. It’s pretty simple — just record your match on an iPad, iPhone or a camera. Send it to our Assist analysts and give us 12 – 24 hours to break it down (depending on your package). Feel free to watch your video while we’re working on it and be on the lookout for an email letting you know we’re done. When you see it, you’re good to dive into your stats and reports.

Submit while uploading. Kill two birds with one stone by sending to Assist straight from the web uploader. Baller, right?

Send to Assist from your library. Forgot to send to Assist while you were uploading? We believe in second chances. Go to your library and submit it from there.

Make a submission on an iPad or iPhone. Forgot your computer in your office, but need to get a match submitted? Don’t sweat it. Grab your iPhone or iPad and send it our way with the Hudl app.

Submit while accepting exchanged video. If you forgot to record your match and are getting it from an opponent (how nice of them!), you can submit to Assist while accepting the exchange.

Leave a note for our analysts. Let our analysts know if there’s anything unusual happening in the video or if there’s a missing chunk of the action.
- Did your varsity team play a JV team in a tournament? We’ll still break it down, just let us know the situation in the notes.
- Jersey numbers hard to read? Leave detailed characteristics, like “# 2 is wearing red socks” or “#16 has a blue knee brace on.”
- Forget to start recording until a minute in? Let us know so we can accurately tag the start of the video.
