Course 1:   Season Prep

Lesson 1:   Rebound from Last Season

  1. Note: If you’re new to Hudl, you can skip this lesson for now. But keep it in mind for next season.

  2. Remove old athletes. It’s time to make room for your new crew. Don’t worry — previous athletes will still have access to their highlights after you remove them from the team.

  3. Edit groups. Add new players to your existing groups. You don’t want your freshman goalie to miss the playlist you share with that position’s group.

  4. Remove old groups. You probably don’t need your“2017 – 18 forwards” group anymore. Delete it and start fresh.

  5. Update athlete information. A lot can change from season to season. Be sure to keep jersey numbers and positions up to date in your roster.

  6. Move athletes between teamsWe’re all about player development. That’s why it’s easy to move athletes between Hudl teams once they’ve earned it.

  7. Attach uploads and playlists to a schedule entry. Cleaning up your library makes it simple to find any video you need whenever you need it.

  8. Declutter your library. Some good, old fashioned spring cleaning will help keep your account organized. Remember, you can always download any video before you delete it so you still have a copy.

  1. Take it to the next level

  2. Restore athletes.  Accidentally delete an athlete? No worries, you can restore them in a few clicks.

  3. Sort by the information that matters to you. Click headers to quickly view athletes by position, grad year or user activity. It’ll be super easy to find your seniors and remove them from the team.
