Site Sharing

Site Sharing allows one BlueFrame site to share a broadcast to another site via the BlueFrame media widget or portal page easily, without complicated RTMP information.

  1. Log in to vCloud and go to the Broadcast or Broadcast Grid page. Site sharing can be turned on for existing broadcasts, or you can add site sharing to a broadcast that you are in the process of creating. Either way, the process is the same.

  2. Navigate to the Broadcast Grid page under Produce.

  3. Find the broadcast wanted for site sharing and select the pencil icon to the right of the broadcast to get to the Update Broadcast.

  4. Scroll down to the Site Sharing tab and click to open it. Start typing the name of the site to share the broadcast.

If an organization is not listed that you should have access to, contact Hudl Support.

  5. To share with a site, type in the site's name. If permissions are granted to share, it will be available in a drop-down list after the first three letters are typed. Click to add the site.

Once the site(s) is added, the broadcast will be available on the original site as well as the sites that have been shared. This will automatically route to the shared sites portal pages and widget.

FAQs

I'm not seeing a site that I should have access to appear in my site sharing options, could you please add it?

Thank you for letting us know! Please reach out to our Support Team.

Do I need to site share to my own site?

No, you do not need to site share to your own site. Any livestreams scheduled under your site will automatically appear there.

When I site share does it count as a broadcast for each site I share with or only on the site I originally schedule the broadcast?

Livestreams only count toward the site they are created under.
