Not seeing your camera source appear as an option in the dropdown? Please see our troubleshooting information.

  6. Your camera's video feed will then appear in the Camera 1 area on the left and on the program feed on the right. You have successfully selected your camera as your source option.

If this will be your only camera source, you can close the Preferences menu. If you will be using other camera sources, repeat this process for the other Camera options under the Audio/Video tab (Camera 2, Camera 3, etc.).

Hardwired Audio Sources

For best quality, we recommend connecting a headset(s) to a USB audio mixer, however, if you have a single USB headset or 3.5mm audio jacket device, you can connect it directly to the computer without a mixer.

For the following instructions, you will need the following equipment:

  • Computer with Production Truck
  • USB Audio Mixer
  • XLR Headset
  1. Plug your USB Audio Mixer into power and power it on.

  2. Plug the headset(s) into the XLR ports on the USB Audio Mixer.

  3. Connect the USB Audio Mixer to the computer running Production Truck via USB.

  4. Double-click on and login to the Production Truck software.

Need information on downloading Production Truck, check out our tutorial.

  5. Click on the gear icon at the center of the software.

  6. You will automatically be taken to the Audio/Video tab. Click on the Audio 1 option on the left. Click on the Source dropdown and select your audio mixer from the dropdown.

Not seeing your audio source appear as an option in the dropdown? Please see our troubleshooting information.

  7. Click on the Source dropdown and select your audio mixer from the dropdown. It will typically show up as USB Audio Codec or as the brand name of your mixer.

  8. Your audio mixer's audio feed will then appear in the right area under the Main Audio options. As you speak into the headset, the green audio levels will react. You have successfully selected your audio mixers as your source option.
