Streaming out at 1080p 60fps from Production Truck

The highest quality settings currently capable of being streamed from Production Truck are 1080p at 60 fps. This is the highest quality most streaming services and hardware are capable of handling.

Please ensure that your computer meets the recommended hardware capabilities to stream in this format otherwise performance may be affected.

Camera Format

  1. Ensure that your camera is capable of outputting in a 1920x1080p format with 60 frames-per-second. Look up your camera online, look into its settings, or review its manual to see if it has this capability.

  2. Ensure that the capture device can capture in this format. Look up your camera online, look into its settings, or review its software to see if it has this capability. Some capture devices that do have this capability are the Blackmagic Recorder 3G.

Input Format

  1. Once determined that both camera and capture card are capable, connect your capture device and open Production Truck. Select the device as the camera source.

    Under the Format option, ensure that it is set to 1080p at 59.94 or 60. Some devices display 60 fps at 59.94 but they are equivalent.

Advanced Settings

  1. Ensure that Production Truck will output at those maximum settings. Click on the gear icon in the center of Production Truck and navigate over to the Advanced tab.

    If it is not already unchecked, then uncheck the Automatic Configuration setting. Navigate down and increase the Max Resolution setting to 1920 x 1080. Also, increase the Max Frame Rate setting to 60.

  2. Close this window. Production Truck will save these settings.

    At the bottom of Production Truck, you see Production Truck's current output settings. It will list the resolution and the fps. From the screenshot below, we are streaming at 1920x1080 with 30 fps.
