Overview of the Preference Window

The Preference Window allows the set up of broadcast, including which camera and audio sources to use, where streaming broadcasts, configuring replay, and so much more. All settings and advanced features can be found in the preference window.

Open the Preference Window by clicking the gear icon in the center of Production Truck.

Service

The Service tab is used to change streaming services between BlueFrame, RTMP, Youtube, Record to File, Stretch Internet, and Facebook.

Each option prompts for information needed to get a broadcast to the correct service, either by logging in, entering a host URL and/or other information required by that service. A broadcast may need to be created to enter additional information required to stream to a particular service. To create a broadcast from the Service tab click "Create Broadcast" in the bottom-left corner of the window. Enter additional information required to stream to a particular service.

Devices

The Devices tab allows various devices to be brought into Production Truck, such as wireless cameras, or to add various images as camera sources. Choose the plus icon to add these various items. For more information: Network Device Menu

Audio/Video

Select video or audio devices. Choose up to 4 video sources and 1 audio source. Choose a Picture-in-Picture camera, output program feed to various locations, or have various overlay input/outputs if using third-party software.

Replay

Choose and enable cameras for Instant Replay. Choose how Replay functions perform. This can be useful when dealing with hardware restrictions. The Replay Clips Path allows you to choose where Replay Clips end up on your computer as files. For more information: Set up and Capture Instant Replays

HotKeys

Customize hotkeys to be used when producing for easier access and speed. Various mappings for certain sports are available. Allow for customized hotkeys by clicking New.

Scoreboard

Connect an external scoreboard in the gym or on the field to Production Truck overlays so that the score and clocks are automatically updated with the scoreboard. Integration with the following services are available; Daktronics All Sport CG and Sportzcast ScoreBot Cloud & Local options.

Network

Test network connection and see current speed. Choose the Run Test option to send a small amount of data to our servers and see your speed in real-time.

Timers

Change ad durations as well as the duration of the Countdown to Live timer.

Advanced

Choose to restore overlays at startup and change the max resolution and frame rate to get the best quality broadcast possible. By default, we detect your computer's specifications and have an Automatic Configuration that we recommend enabled. Toggling this on/off allows for customizable configurations.

Sharing

Log in to social media accounts to share video clips and screenshots in Production Truck. Choosing Sign In will cause a new window to open where you will be prompted to sign in to the associated social media account. On the lower half of the window, you can also choose a pre-roll clip or watermark for the video clips.
