Tag Highlights

Tag Highlights (Computer)

This workflow is also available in the new Hudl for football. Click here to learn more.

  1. Log in to Hudl.com and click Video.

  2. Choose a game.

Only game videos can be used in highlights. Practice and opponent scout videos can't be used.

  3. Click the star next to the clip of the video.

Coaches have the ability to restrict highlights to specific angles (e.g. End Zone). Reach out to your coaches if you think that might be happening.

  4. Select the scissor icon to trim the highlight. Drag the handles to the desired length.

  5. Select the spot shadow icon to add a spot shadow. Choose the style, size, and where and when you want the spot shadow to appear.

  6. Select the text icon to add text. Choose where you want the text to appear and type directly in the box.

  7. Click Publish to save the highlight.

Hudl does limit the number of clips taken from a single game to 25. This is to make sure your team's full games aren't shared without a coach's approval. If you'd like to share a full game with friends or family, ask your coach for a download.
