Mask an Object

This tutorial is specific to our newest product, Hudl Sportscode. If you’re on Sportscode v11, use these resources instead or upgrade today.

  1. Open your Studio project and select the mask icon from the toolbar.

The mask tool requires Chroma. Because of this, a message may appear instructing you to set the Chroma if you have not already done so.

  2. Use the mask box to hide the player, referee, or other object you wish to hide. Adjust the corners of the mask box to the appropriate size.

Enable auto-tracking or manually track the object so that the object remains hidden for the desired duration.

  3. Adjust the timeframe of the mask using the ends of the blue bar.
