Set Up a Multi-Angle Capture with Antrica Video Encoder

Plug in the power adapter for the Antrica device and your network switch.

Connect your video feeds to the Antrica Video Encoder through either HDMI or SDI, depending on your device.

All connections need to be the same, you can not have a mix of HDMI and SDI feeds going into your Antrica device. If you do have different connections, you will need to convert the connections so they are all the same.

Connect an ethernet cable from the corresponding ethernet port on the Antrica to an ethernet port on your network switch. Do this for each video feed connected to your Antrica device.

Connect an ethernet cable from your network switch to your computer. You may need a USB-C to gigabit ethernet adapter.

Reset every channel of your Antrica.

You can find the RESET button to the right of the SDI input. Press and hold RESET button, after 18 seconds release the button and the encoder will restart automatically, factory default parameters will be initialized. The Antrica channel's default IP address will revert to 192.168.1.168

Repeat the process for all your Antrica channels. On this picture we have 4 units. Therefore, we need to do 4 resets.

Toggle off Wi-Fi.

Click on the Apple Menu and select System Settings.

Click Network.

Select the dropdown menu, then Locations and then select Edit Locations.

Click on the + icon to add a location name. Name the location "Antrica".

Click Done.

Select the USB-C LAN connection.

Select Details.

Navigate to the TCP/IP option.

Set the Configure IPv4 to Manually.

Enter the following settings for IP address, Subnet mask, and Router:

If you want to connect multiple Macs to the switch, be sure to set different IP addresses within this range. For example: 192.168.1.101, 192.168.1.102, etc.

If your switch is powered on, you should see a green dot next to the USB LAN menu. Close out of your Network preferences window.

Open up a web browser and enter http://192.168.1.168/. When asked to enter a default user name and password enter "admin" into both fields.

This IP address is the address for Channel 1/Feed 1 of the Antrica device.

Select SDI Main from the menu on the left.

On the SDI Main page, scroll down to the RTSP settings. Select Enable on the RTSP field.

Set the RTSP TCP field to TCP.

Scroll up along the SDI Main page to the video encoding settings (Bitrate control, Key Interval, Encoded size...). The encoding settings should match your source video. For example, these are the settings for PAL 1080 video:

Click Apply to save your changes.

Repeat the steps above for each camera angle connected through ethernet to the network switch.

Click on the Status menu and select Access address. The IP address here reflects the video feed for one of your camera angles. Select and copy this address.

Launch Hudl Sportscode and open up a capture window.

Click on the gear icon. This will open the inspector window.

Click on the Feeds tab.

Click on the + icon to add a feed address.

Name your feed whatever you'd like and paste the IP address for the camera angle that you copied above.

Repeat the above steps for each of your camera angles.

Click on the Sources tab and select your different Antrica camera angles.

If Hudl Sportscode is connected to your video feed, it will display a green check mark.

Close your inspector window and click the Record icon to begin capturing your video angles.
