Record and Upload from a Mobile Device

Video uploaded through Mobile Capture will count against storage hours unless recorded on a scheduled game day and Game Footage is selected. 

  1. Log in to the Hudl app and tap Capture in the menu.

  2. Hold the iPad in landscape mode for best results.

  3. Tap the Record button to start and stop recording a clip.

  4. Pinch to zoom in and out before or during recording.

  5. To include audio, tap the Audio On option. The toggle should be green. 

  6. Tap View Clips to view your all your clips.

  7. Tap Edit to select which clips you want deleted.

  8. Tap to choose the clips you no longer want, then tap Delete.

  9. To confirm these clips should be deleted, tap Delete again.

  10. Tap View Clips to view your recorded clips.

  11. To upload all clips, tap Upload.

  12. Name your playlist and tap Next.

    Uploaded playlists will be located in the Library under game footage or mobile uploads.

  13. Share the playlist with specific groups or individuals, then tap Upload to continue uploading your playlist.

    If a Wi-Fi connection is not available, you can upload over a cellular connection. (Data charges may apply.)

  5. Pinch to zoom in and out before or during recording.

  6. Tap the Replay icon to review the last clip captured at any time.

  7. Tap the thumbnail in the bottom right to view clips. 

    • To upload all clips, select Upload These Clips.
    • Tap Play to play the selected clip.
    • Tap Upload to upload only the selected clip.
    • Tap Delete to delete the selected clip.
    • Tap the phone’s Back button to continue recording clips.
  8. If a Wi-Fi connection is not available, you can upload over a cellular connection. (Data charges may apply.)
