Record and Upload from a Mobile Device

  1. Log in to the Hudl app and tap Capture in the menu.

  2. Tap the Record but­ton to start and stop record­ing a clip.

    Hold the iOS in land­scape mode for best results.

  3. Pinch to zoom in and out before or dur­ing recording.

  4. To include audio, tap the Audio On option. The sound icon will be white. 

  5. Tap View Clips to view your all your clips.

  6. Tap Edit to select which clips you want deleted.

  7. Tap to choose the clips you no longer want, then tap Delete.

  8. To con­firm these clips should be delet­ed, tap Delete again.

  9. Tap View Clips to view your record­ed clips.

  10. To upload all clips, tap Upload.

  11. Name your playlist and tap Next.

    Uploaded playlists will be locat­ed in the Library under game footage or mobile uploads.

  12. Share the playlist with spe­cif­ic groups or indi­vid­u­als, then tap Upload to con­tin­ue upload­ing your playlist.

    If a Wi-Fi con­nec­tion is not avail­able, you can upload over a cel­lu­lar con­nec­tion. (Data charges may apply.)

    If the video is in your mobile device’s cam­era roll, fol­low these steps to get it online.

  1. Log in to the Hudl app, and tap Capture from the menu.

  2. Hold the device in land­scape mode for best results.

  3. Tap the Record but­ton to start and stop record­ing a clip.

  4. To include audio, make sure the Record Audio option is selected.

  5. Pinch to zoom in and out before or dur­ing recording.

  6. Tap the Replay icon to review the last clip cap­tured at any time.

  7. Tap the thumb­nail in the bot­tom right to view clips. 

    • To upload all clips, select Upload These Clips.
    • Tap Play to play the select­ed clip.
    • Tap Upload to upload only the select­ed clip.
    • Tap Delete to delete the select­ed clip.
    • Tap the phone’s Back but­ton to con­tin­ue record­ing clips.
  8. If a Wi-Fi con­nec­tion is not avail­able, you can upload over a cel­lu­lar con­nec­tion. (Data charges may apply.)
