Collect Data
1. TURN ON THE WIMU PRO DEVICE
Press the button until the blue LED light flashes. The device should be placed horizontally on a flat surface. It is important to prevent vibrations or sudden movements.
* This is a manual process. There are no other options to turn on the device.
2. STARTING PROTOCOL
A blue LED light will flash after 30 seconds approximately and the display screen will show a new icon.
3. CAPTURE SIGNALS
GNSS SIGNAL
A location icon will be displayed on the OLED screen when the device receives a GNSS signal. A green LED light will blink.
HR SIGNAL
A heart icon will be displayed on the OLED screen when the device is collecting data from a Heart Rate monitor device. A green LED light will flash.
4. START RECORDING
GROUP OF DEVICES
Push the button “Start Log” found on the display screen of the SMART STATION with all devices on and placed inside the SMART STATION. The LED light of each device will turn red.
A SINGLE DEVICE
Press the ON/OFF button for at least 3 seconds until the LED light turns red.
5. PLACE THE DEVICE
Place the device into the pocket located in the back of the sport vest as displayed in the picture. The front of the WIMU device (blue) shall be seen through the hole in the lower part of the pocket.
6. SET MARKS/LAPS
Press the ON/OFF button of the WIMU Clicker to set a lap in the data stream (for example, start a task). When we set a mark by pressing the button of the Clicker, it will blink as well as the LED light of the WIMU PRO device and, at the same time, an ANT+ icon will be displayed on the WIMU PRO screen.
7. END OF THE RECORDING
GROUP OF DEVICES
Push the button “Stop Log” found on the display screen of the SMART STATION with all devices on and placed inside the SMART STATION. The devices stop collecting data and will be reset hence they will be ready to download the data. Likewise, the devices can also be turned off by pushing the button “Shutdown” on the SMART STATION screen (the devices will stop collecting data as well).
A SINGLE DEVICE
Press quickly (less than 1 second approx..) the ON/OFF button 3 times in a row. Try this again if the device does not turn off.
