Run a Connection Test

  1. Log in to Hudl.com, then hover over the ? icon and select Connection Test. 

  2. Click Run Tests. 

  3. If a firewall is detected, pass Hudl’s firewall information to your IT team.  

  4. If you see an orange or red face as a result for connection stability, you may experience some interruption with your downloads and uploads. If you’re connected via Wi-Fi, you might have better luck on a wired connection.

  5. For a download speed, we suggest a minimum of 5-10 mbps to download content.  

  6. For an upload speed, we suggest a minimum of 2-5 mpbs to get files from your computer to Hudl’s servers.

  7. If you see an orange or red face as a result for any of the four tests, try one of the four following options:

    • Take the firewall information to your IT staff
    • Turn your internet connection off and back on or reset your router
    • Find a different internet connection to use
    • Speak to your internet provider about your current services
