Ideal Router Placement (Plus)

It’s extreme­ly impor­tant that when record­ing from the end zone, your equip­ment is posi­tioned cor­rect­ly and is aimed in the right direction.

If your team is on the far side­line, aim the router between the press box and oppo­site goal posts.

  • Your stream­ing kit and router should be locat­ed next to each other.

  • Aim the router between the press box and oppo­site goal posts. In oth­er words, the cor­ner of the oppo­site end zone.

  • Check the Wi-Fi sig­nal strength on your record­ing device in the press box. It should have at least three bars. If you see few­er than three bars, adjust your router’s placement.

If your team is on the near side­line, aim the router toward the press box and your team.

  • Your stream­ing kit and router should be locat­ed next to each other.
  • Aim the router toward the record­ing device in the press box, but not so high that your side­line isn’t cov­ered as well.

  • Check the Wi-Fi sig­nal strength on your record­ing device in the press box. It should have at least three bars. If you see few­er than three bars, adjust your router’s placement.
