Livestream Directly To Team1Sports, Powered by HudlTV (Computer)

The Team1Sports, powered by HudlTV, livestream can be enabled or disabled for each game.

If you'd like to have the score shown on your livestream, your scoreboard needs to be in the camera’s field of view and turned on during installation.

Upload speeds should be greater than 10 Mbps in order to perform livestreams.

Livestream from a Schedule Event on Hudl.com

  1. Click on the Schedule Event you would like to a live stream to.

  2. Select your Powered by HudlTV channel from the Livestream dropdown.

    Don't see your Hudl TV channel? Reach out to your Hudl Representative to get access.

  3. Click Save.

Your livestream will then automatically appear on your Team1Sports, Powered by HudlTV, page for your fans to watch.

Wanting to stream with Production Truck? Select the livestream in the software and go Live and your Production Truck-produced livestream will replace your Hudl Focus stream.

What if I need to make edits to the game?

Make any changes to your game in Hudl.com, or in the Hudl Focus app, and your Team1Sports livestream will automatically update!

We are hosting a tournament or acting as a neutral site, how do I schedule those games?

You will schedule the game as a normal schedule entry. When scheduling change the Title field to reflect who will be playing in the game, so fans know who is participating! You then exchange the game via a Direct, One-Way Exchange with the two teams after the game.

We have overlapping games, will that affect the live stream?

We do not recommend overlapping recordings as a best practice, but they can be done. We do not necessarily recommend them because this doubles the amount of upload speed needed on the camera, if the camera cannot meet these speeds it will cause issues with the Livestream. Also, overlapping recordings can cause issues with the Hudl film. For more information on overlapping recordings.

It would be best to stop one recording through the Hudl Focus app when the game is over and adjust the next recording's start time.

What if we plan on using Production Truck to produce a game?

You can schedule your game on Hudl.com or via the Hudl Focus app. Then just log in to Production Truck, select the game you just scheduled, and go live! We recommend that you go live before the start time, otherwise the Hudl Focus camera will automatically begin to livestream the game directly from the camera. You can still override this by going live in Production Truck.

  2. Choose the correct account under Livestream.

  3. Choose the team and format (HudlTV) to livestream.

  4. Click the Add button.
