Manually Stop and Archive a Broadcast

Learn how to manually stop and archive a broadcast for on-demand availalbility.

All broadcasts on BlueFrame's system are automatically archived after an hour of being stopped.

  1. Navigate to the Broadcast Grid page under Produce.

  2. Scroll down to the broadcast you wish to manually archive - it should be listed as Stopped.

  3. Click the pencil icon to the right of the broadcast.

  4. Scroll down and click Status. Change the status from Stopped to Archived.

  5. Click Save at the bottom of the broadcast creation page to archive the broadcast.

    The archiving process time varies depending on the video length. Expect the video to be archived and available for download or viewable on-demand within one hour.

Stop & Archive While Streaming

You can not stop a broadcast from your broadcast details page in vCloud.

  1. Go to vCloud.blueframetech.com > Media > Broadcasts to choose the broadcast to stop and archive.

  2. Select the thumbnail/picture of the broadcast or click the Info button within the symbols on the right-hand side.

  3. Go to the Stream tab below the video player on the Broadcast Details page.

  4. Select Stop Stream or Stop Stream Permanently to stop the stream and begin the archiving process.

    Stopping the stream allows the broadcast to stream again, but the Archive Stream button will not be available.

    Stopping the stream permanently won't allow the broadcast to stream again, but the Archive Stream button will be available
