Recording to File
Production Truck can be utilized in an offline capacity to record broadcasts locally to a computer. Record broadcasts to be used as .mp4 files in future broadcasts or record entire events to be uploaded later.
Changing to Offline Mode and Setting Up a Broadcast

If connected to the internet, the option to open Production Truck in Offline mode from the login screen shows.

If connected to the internet and already logged into Production Truck, navigate to the Preferences menu (the gear icon in the center of Production Truck,) then navigate over to the Service>Streaming Service>Record to File.

Create a Broadcast. Name the broadcast and the quality you want for the recording. Additionally, the File Directory option will be where the broadcast recording file is placed. It is recommended to keep it in the Offline Folder of Production Truck.
By default, Production Truck records files in .FLV format to save storage space. To convert the file into a .mp4, scroll down.

Click the Record button in the upper right-hand corner of Production Truck. When done recording, click Record again and stop the recording. The recording will be located in the Offline folder of the Production Truck folder on your computer.
Converting an Offline Recording to an MP4 File
Convert your offline file to a .mp4 file format. This process is to be done after recording the broadcast.

Within Production Truck, navigate to the navigation bar at the top. Select Tools>Export to MP4.

This will open an option to Export to MP4 window. The Source option is the location of the file to convert.

Press the Select option over the right and find the recorded broadcast. It will open up automatically to the Production Truck folder on the computer. The broadcast will be under the Offline folder in Production Truck.

Click Select across from Destination to be given options for naming the broadcast and location for the file on the computer. The below example shows the file the Desktop.

Select Export. An Export Succesful pop-up shows once the export is complete.
