Add an Audio or Video Delay

Production Truck gives the option to add a delay to either audio (Mac or Windows) or video source (Mac Only). This can be used to match sources to ensure everything is in sync.

Delay Audio on macOS

  1. Navigate into Production Truck and click on the gear icon in the center, then navigate to Audio 1 and select the device you wish to use as an audio source under the Source option to the right.

  2. Close the setting menu. Go to the bottom right-hand corner of Production Truck and click the arrow to expand the Advance Audio Mixer.

  3. Once the Advance Audio Mixer is expanded, with that particular audio source selected in blue, navigate to the right and use the Delay slider in order to delay the audio source by that duration, in seconds.

    There is a maximum delay of 20 seconds.

Audio Delay for Windows

  1. Navigate to Production Truck and click on the gear icon in the center. Go to Audio Source and select the device you wish to use as an audio source under the Source option to the right.

  2. On the same Audio Source option, select the Delay option below and enter the duration (in seconds) you wish to delay the audio source.

    There is a maximum delay of 5 seconds.

Video Delay on Mac

  1. Navigate to Production Truck and click on the gear icon in the center. Go to Camera 1 and select the device you wish to use as a video source under the Source option to the right.

  2. Select the Delay option. Either enter a time in secondsbor drag the slider to increase the delay.

    There is a maximum delay time of 10 seconds.
