Sportzcast Scorebot and Daktronics
Learn how to set up a Sportzcast Scorebot or Daktronics All Sport CG devices to Production Truck to automate scoring capabilities.

Spportzcast Scorebot
Hardware Needed
What you will need:
- Scoreboard Console
- Sportzcast ScoreHub/ScoreLink
- 1/4" to Female Serial Cable (Compatible with your Scoreboard Manufacturer)
- Computer with Production Truck
Hardware Connection Workflow
Input in the code on your Scoreboard Console for the specific sport.
The set up:

The computer is connected wirelessly, which means the computer can be anywhere in the gym or anywhere that you can access the Sportzcast Cloud Account to connect the bot.
Production Truck Steps

In Production Truck navigate to the Preferences (gear icon), then to the Scoreboard tab. Select Sportzcast ScoreBot Local or Sportzcast ScoreBot Cloud. If connected correctly data will be appearing like the example below:
Once this is found as a source, use a Production Truck scoreboard overlay with the appropriate sport to bring in the data.
Troubleshooting Connection Issues
In regards to the Sportzcast ScoreHub, this is what the screen should show with the proper connection.
If issues receiving data continue, follow these troubleshooting tips:
For the Sportzcast ScoreHub:
- The correct SB Vendor and SB Code are entered for the specific Scoreboard Manufacturer and Sport.
- the correct IP Address that is listed on the main screen of the ScoreHub is entered
- Scoreboard Data light is green
- Internet light is green--if not green, ensure the connection from ScoreHub to the internet is correct.
- If using a cloud account, ensure that the Cloud light is green.
- If issues continue, contact Sportzcast Support, which should be listed on the front of your ScoreHub device.
- type the IP into a browser and see if anything comes up.
In regards to the Sportzcast ScoreLink, this is what the screen should show k if you are connected properly:
For the Sportzcast ScoreLink:
- The scoreboard light will be flashing either amber or magenta if it is receiving no/bad scoreboard data and flashing blue when receiving good scoreboard data.
- If there are no lights lit up on the side of the device, then this device currently does not have power. Check the ethernet cable connection or any other source of power that may be used to power this device.
- If issues continue, contact Sportzcast Support, which should be listed on the front of your ScoreLink device.
Daktronics All Sport CG

Learn how to set up a Daktronics All Sport CG to a computer with Production Truck.
Currently the driver needed for All Sport CG serial cable is not compatible with Mac OS 11 Big Sur and thus not Production Truck.
Hardware Needed
- Daktronics All Sport Console
- 1/4” to Serial (Female) Cable
- Daktronics All Sport CG
- Serial Male to USB A Cable (Ex. Plugable)
- Computer with Production Truck
Daktronics All Sport Console
1/4” to Serial (Female) Cable
Serial (Male) to USB Cable (Ex. Plugable)
With the Serial (Male) to USB cable you will need to download Prolific drivers.
Hardware Connection Workflow
Set Sport Data on Daktronics All Sport Console

Put in the compatible sport code on your Daktronics console.

Connect the data from Console to All Sport CG to the All Sport CG via 1/4" to Serial (Male) cable.
To verify data is being received, configure the All Sport CG. Set Mode as Automatic and select Sport as designated sport code data coming from console.
Production Truck Steps

In Production Truck navigate to settings (gear icon)
- Scoreboard tab
- Select 'Daktronics All Sport CG'
- Choose the appropriate Serial Device listed; likely noted as "usbserial"
- Choose an appropriate sport.
- If connected correctly data will appear below.
After this is found as a source, use a Production Truck scoreboard overlay with the appropriate sport to bring in the data
