Scorebird Walkthrough

Scorebird integration allows for a Scorebird automated scoring system can be used in conjunction with BlueFrame software to automatically update scoreboard data.

Access a Scorebird account, via Scorebird.com, in order to set up correctly.

Make sure the Scorebird account is set up with your facility, and the device added so it can be found and recognized by Production Truck and pull in the correct sporting information. Scorebird Setup and Account

  1. Plug the Scorebird Nest device into power, then proceed to plug into the gymnasium's scoreboard keyboard.

    Power on your Scorebird. Ensure an internet connection to your Scorebird to get the sports data to populate via your Scorebird account.

  2. On the Scorebird account, make sure device of scoreboard matches in my facility

    Make sure the correct sport is linked with the scoreboard under the Shadow area listed under My Devices on Scorebird's account management page. For example, our Daktronics 5000 scoreboard is showing on our system.

    Save the ID number listed there in order to continue.

Production Truck

  1. Navigate to your Production Truck's Settings, then the Scoreboard tab. From the Source option select Scorebird.

    *Note: To see this option you will need Production Truck version 4.4.24 or higher

  2. Select the plus icon to add a Scorebird device Enter the Scorebird devices ID number into the ID Field. The Scorebird device ID can be found on your Scorebird account. Enter a Description to label different Scorebird nests for different locations.

  3. Click Add.

  4. Once connected, check the Update Overlays option. If your scoreboard controller is generating data, that data populates below. The Scorebird will now automatically populate Scoreboards!

  5. Each piece of data that Production Truck can receive from Scorebird is displayed. Uncheck various pieces of data for that specific data to not populate on the Scoreboard and to enter it manually.

  6. Uncheck the Scorebird no longer being used and check the Scorebird device you wish to receive data from via the checkbox on the right to switch between Scorebirds.

    It does take a few seconds for the connection to be established and the Status to be changed to Connected.

Remote Truck

  1. In Remote Truck, navigate up to the upper right and select the Menu, then under the Admin header, select Overlays.

  2. Here scorebird is an option to connect to.

  3. On the Scorebird menu, all existing Scorebirds that are connected are listed. To add a new Scorebird device, navigate down and select the + icon.

  4. Enter in the Scorebird information (the Scorebird ID number for that particular venue's Scorebird's device is needed). Add a description in order to identify which venue that Scorebird is for.

  5. Click Add.

  6. Back on the Scorebird screen, the device is now listed. It is checked when selected.

    Slect Overlay to go directly to the Overlay screen to customize the overlay. Select Updates On/Off ,to turn Off the Scorebird device from updating the on-screen overlay.

  7. Selecting Reset Devices will reset all your Scorebird devices in case issues occur.

  8. Select Show Output to see a toggle to turn certain data off/on. Select the green check or red x to enable or disable certain data from appearing and updating.
