Find Videos (Computer)

New Hudl is the future of Hudl, and we're just getting started. As we continue to release new features and improvements throughout the 2023 season, we'd appreciate your feedback along the way.

Video selection is slightly different in New Hudl versus the Video Library. Relevant videos and resources will automatically be surfaced.

On the left side is the team's list. At the top is your team. All videos across seasons from the "Game Footage" category live here.

Below that are opponents from your current season. You'll see videos from the "Game Footage", “Opponent Scout” and “Practice.” categories. As long as schedule entries are linked to an opponent, past seasons' video will be shown as well. All other opponents from past seasons are below that.

  1. Log in to Hudl.com and select New Hudl.

  2. Relevant videos and resources will automatically be surfaced based on recently watched film and upcoming opponents. Use the video selector on the right to select the video(s) you'd like to watch.

  3. Click the play button.

  4. If you're already watching film and want to change the video(s) selected, open the video selector and choose the new video(s) you’d like to watch.

FAQs

How do I find past games for opponents that aren't on this year's schedule?

On the left side of the screen, scroll down until you see Past Teams. This will show you any opponent you have previously played but are not playing this year.

How many playlists can I select at one time?

There is no limit to how many playlists you can select at one time.

How do I find a video that is not linked with a schedule entry?

If you have a video that is not linked to a schedule entry, it will appear under Other Items.

Watching video in the New Hudl allows you to find the moments you care about fast by placing it alongside the list of clips for easy navigation.

Like the New Hudl on your desktop, you'll be able to find all your game, opponent scout, and practice video. Content is organized by content you've created, content that's been shared with you from Hudl.com (see Share Video and Data), and video organized by date of play.

This section will cover how to find your video and video that's been shared with you.

Find Your Video

  1. Log into the Hud app and select New Hudl from the navigation menu.

  2. Select the team you’d like to watch video on.

  3. Select the game or games you’d like to review and tap the play icon.

  4. Video can be played alongside a list of clips in portrait mode.

  5. Video can also be played full screen in landscape mode.

  6. Tap on the game title at the top of the screen to return to the previous screen.

Access Shared Content

New Hudl on the web allows you to share content via shared links through email, text, Hudl messaging, and more (see Share Video and Data). Shared content can be accessed and viewed on mobile. Only team members will be able to access shared links.

  1. Select the team you’ve received shared content on.

  2. Open the relevant video in the Shared with Me section.
