Football | Tag Stats Live
Tagging live is only available on iPads.

Log in to the Hudl app, then tap Tag a Game in the menu.

Select the game you're tagging. If the game isn't listed, tap The game isn’t listed… to add it to the schedule.

Tap whether you're Playing Them or Scouting Them.

Select one of the kicking options:
- Kickoff
- Received Kickoff
- Onside Kick
Tagging player stats is optional.

On kickoffs, you can tag the following:
- Kicker: Tap the athlete who kicked off.
- Returner: Tap the athlete that returned the kickoff.
- Tackler: Tap up to two athletes who were involved in the tackle.
- Caught on: Use the yard line spinner in the top right to identify where the ball was caught.
- Returned to: Use the yard line spinner in the top right to identify where the ball was returned.
- Hash: Choose left, middle or right hash.

After the kickoff, tag the first possession. The options available are:
- Run
- Complete Pass
- Incomplete Pass
- QB Scramble
- Interception
- QB Sack
- Punt
- FG Attempt
- Pre-Snap Penalty

For a run play, tag the following:
- Rusher
- Tackler(s)
- Gain
- Spot
- Hash
Then tap Finish Tagging this Play.

For a pass play, tag the following:
- Passer
- Tackler
- Receiver
- Gain
- Spot
- Hash
Then tap Finish Tagging this Play.

On 4th down, Hudl assumes the most common option is a punt. If the 4th down play is not a punt, select from the following:
- Run
- Complete Pass
- Incomplete Pass
- QB Scramble
- Interception
- QB Sack
- Punt
- FG Attempt
- Penalty

If at any time you miss a play, tap Catch Up. You'll identify who has possession of the ball, the current quarter, down, hash and the distance to go. The last step is to spot the ball and select OK, Let’s Go. You can manually enter any missed data once tags have been uploaded.

At the end of each quarter, tap End Quarter.

At the end of the game, select End of Regulation.

Tap End Game.

When connected to Wi-Fi, select Upload Stats to Hudl.com. The data will automatically import to the library and will be ready to match with the video clips.
