Enable Automatic Calibration

Calibration is the process that identifies where the lines are on the pitch prior to adding 3D objects to your clips. Studio can often calibrate automatically by analyzing the clip, detecting where the lines are, and matching to the lines it expects to see. This tutorial walks you through how to enable automatic calibration.

  1. Open Studio and select Studio > Preferences.

  2. Check the box next to Start camera tracking (3D data) immediately after video import.

Any video imported into Studio will now calibrate automatically.
