Use the Find Window

Use the find window to easily locate instances, groups, or specific labels from a single timeline, a database, or a folder containing multiple timelines. You can also select instances in the find window and send them to a sorter or organizer.

Navigate to the find window by Edit > Find or pressing Command + F.


From the Front Timeline

  1. Open a package in Hudl Sportscode.

  2. Open the find tool by clicking Edit > Find or Command + F.

  3. The finder will pull in instances and labels from the timeline you currently have open.

  4. All your coded instances will be on the left side of the screen. Your labels and codes will be listed on the right. Use this filter to find the instances you are after.

  5. From this view, you can select multiple instances and send them to an organizer or sorter.


From All Timelines in Folder

  1. Open Hudl Sportscode and navigate to the find tool by clicking Edit > Find or pressing Command + F.

  2. Select All Timelines in Folder... from the dropdown.

  3. Choose a folder containing multiple Sportscode packages in it and click Open.

  4. Your instances will be organized by Timeline on the left and by Codes, Labels, and Groups on the right. Use this filter to find the instances you are after.


From a Database

  1. Open Hudl Sportscode and navigate to the Find tool by clicking Edit > Find or pressing Command + F.

  2. Choose Selected Database... from the dropdown.

  3. Select a Hudl Sportscode database. Click Open.
  4. Your database instances will be listed on the left and organized by group and label on the right. Use this filter to find the instances you are after.
