Export Selected Instances to Video Package

This tutorial is specific to our newest product, Hudl Sportscode. If you’re on Sportscode v11, use these resources instead or upgrade today.

From a Timeline

  1. Open a Hudl Sportscode package that contains some amount of blank space or "dead air" that you'd like to cut out.

  2. Select all the instances in the timeline (Cmd+A) or choose specific instances/rows to send to a new package.

  3. Go to File > Export > Selected to Video Package...

  4. Choose where you want to save the new package, then click Save.

    You can monitor the save status of the export via the Progress Queue.

  5. Once the export is complete, the new package will open automatically.

From a Database

  1. Create a new database or open an existing one.

  2. Select all the instances in the database (Cmd+A) or choose specific instances to send to a new package.

  3. Go to File > Export > Selected to Video Package...

  4. Choose where you want to save the new package, then click Save.

    You can monitor the save status of the export via the Progress Queue.

  5. Once the export is complete, the new package will open automatically.
