Camera Angles

Depending on your sport, Hudl Focus automatically records a specific angle for all game recordings. Multiple different angles are recorded for practices—learn more about each camera angles below.

When watching Focus video on Hudl, you can toggle between different angles by clicking on the camera icon on the video player.

Panoramic

Includes a full, 180 degree-view of the playing surface during a game or practice recording.

Available for all sports except football.

Tactical (Tracking) Angle

The camera follows the play as action moves up and down the playing surface during a game or practice recording. The camera will automatically pan and zoom depending on the action taking place.

Available for American Football, Lacrosse and Soccer.

Tight

This angle will stay tight on the play but follow the action on the field, letting you hone in on all the little techniques that add up, without you needing to add another camera to your setup.

Available only for American Football.

Left and Right

A static angle of each half of the playing surface during a practice recording.

Available for all sports.
