Send Video from BlueFrame Production Truck to a Livestream Platform

Now that your broad­cast is up and run­ning, send your video to one of the fol­low­ing livestream plat­forms to share with fans:

YouTube

  1. Click Production Truck and select Preferences.

  2. Click Service.

  3. Select Streaming Service for your License Version and YouTube for Streaming Service, then click Sign in.

  4. Google will open up in your Internet browser, select the Google or YouTube account you'd like to use on the live streaming platform.

  5. Click Allow.

  6. Return to Production Truck as prompted in your Internet browser.

  7. In Production Truck click Broadcast and select Create Broadcast.

  8. Name your broadcast, choose a start and end time, the privacy of the broadcast, and what video quality you'd like to output. Click Save.

  9. Click Live.

  10. In YouTube, click on the camera icon and select Go Live.

  11. When finished, click Live in Production Truck to end the broadcast.

NFHS

  1. Log in to your NFHS account and click Add New Event.

  2. In the Event Creation work­flow, tog­gle your event to Manual event and then input all the infor­ma­tion in the text fields that is relat­ed to your event.

  3. Click Add Event.

  4. In the Event Detail tab, make note of the Event ID for future ref­er­ence in this set up process.

  5. In Production Truck, click on the gear icon or click Production Truck and select Preferences.

  6. Click on Service.

  7. Select Streaming Service for your License Version be, and Generic (RTMP/UDP/SRT) for your Streaming Service.

  8. Exit out of Preferences.

  9. Click Broadcast and select Create Broadcast.

  10. Enter your description. The host URL for NFHS events will always be rtmp://video.nfshnetwork.com/manual/. Enter the Event ID from Step 3 in the Stream Name. Click Save.

  11. Click Live.

  12. Back in NFHS, click on the current Live Stream event at the bottom of the window.

  13. In the Productions tab, you should now see the event listed as HLSStreaming in the Stream field.

  14. Click on Stream Controls.

  15. Click Go on Air. Please allow 5-10 minutes for your live stream to appear on NFHS Network for public viewing.

  16. When finished, click Live in Production Truck to end the broadcast.

Facebook

  1. Click Production Truck and select Preferences.

  2. Click Service.

  3. Select Streaming Service for your License Version, and Facebook for your Streaming Service. Click Sign In.

  4. Google will open Facebook, log in with the Facebook account you want to stream with.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Click OK or Not Now.

  7. In Production Truck click Broadcast and select Create Broadcast.

  8. Name your broad­cast, choose the pri­va­cy of the broad­cast, and what video qual­i­ty you’d like to out­put. Click Save.

  9. Click Live.

  10. Your stream is now live on your Facebook account.

  11. When finished, click Live in Production Truck to end the broadcast

Presto Sports

  1. Click Production Truck and select Preferences.

  2. Click Service.

  3. Select Streaming Service for your License Version and Stretch Internet for your Streaming Service.

  4. Click Broadcast and select Create Broadcast.

  5. Enter the name and description for your event, as well as the full Stretch RTMP address in the Host URL and the stream ID in the Stream Name Field.

    If you don't know your RTMP address or Stream ID, reach out to the Stretch Internet support staff.

  6. Click Save.

  7. Click Live.

  8. When finished, click Live in Production Truck to end the stream.

BlueFrame Technology (vCloud)

  1. Input your camera source(s) and audio source you would like to use.

  2. Test how your broadcast will look without going live by starting Test Mode.

    This is a required step before being able to go live and allows you to make sure things are operating well prior to going live.

  3. Once you click Test, the next thing that you will see on your screen is a pop-up window asking you to confirm that you would like to go into Test Mode. To go into Test Mode, click Confirm.

  4. After hitting Confirm, you are now testing your stream privately. A few things to check that are important to see how your stream quality will be when you go live:

    1. You should be able to see the bar under TEST illuminated with a light blue glow.
    2. The timer in the top right-hand side of the software should be counting up from 00:00:00. This shows you that your test mode is working and has been active for the amount of time shown.
    3. On the Program Feed, you should see Prebroadcast Test showing. This will only be shown to you as the broadcaster and will go away once you are live.

  5. If everything looks good in Test Mode and you are ready to start sending the feed to your streaming site, the next and final step is to click the LIVE button next to the TEST button while you are actively testing.

  6. Now, you will see a pop-up window asking you to confirm that you would like to go into Live Mode. To go into Live Mode, click Confirm.

  7. You are now streaming live to your streaming site. A few things to check to verify that your stream is actively streaming and streaming correctly:

    1. The bar under the LIVE button is illuminated.
    2. The timer in the top right-hand corner is counting up from 00:00:00.
    3. In the bottom right-hand corner of the software, you should see Status: Streaming Live

  8. When your event has ended and you are ready to stop the stream, you must click the LIVE button. Once you click the live button, you will be prompted by a pop-up box to verify that you would like to stop your live broadcast. To stop your broadcast, click Confirm.

  9. When you hit confirm, the software takes anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes, depending on how long your event lasted, to upload and save the content that you just recorded while you were live in your event. You will then be prompted with three options:

    • Not Done: This means you are stopping your stream for a short period of time and are wanting to resume to this stream again within the same hour or day.
    • Archive: Most Popular option, this means that you are wanting to store this broadcast for yourself as well as viewers to watch anytime they want on your streaming site.
    • Delete: This option is mostly used for testing and allows you to delete a broadcast you no longer need to see in the future.
