Use a Hudl Bluetooth Remote with Mobile Device

Tips for Pairing the Remote

  • The four dig­it code on the back of the remote is the remote’s unique Hudl ID.
  • When you see a blink­ing red light after a but­ton is pressed, the remote is ready to be paired.
  • If there is not a blink­ing red light on the remote, the remote is already paired with anoth­er device. Find this device and dis­con­nect before con­nect­ing to a new device.
  • A yel­low light blink­ing in the top right cor­ner of the remote indi­cates a low bat­tery. The faster the yel­low light blinks, the low­er the battery.
  • Your iOS device will list the Hudl Bluetooth Remote as a Bluetooth Keyboard”.
  • If your remote will not pair with your device or will not con­trol play­back, try man­u­al­ly unpair­ing from all devices by hold­ing TAG and FULL for 10 sec­onds, then pair­ing with your device again. 
  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Tap Bluetooth.

  3. Turn on Bluetooth. The green tab indi­cates Bluetooth is activated.

  4. Tap Hudl- fol­lowed by your remote’s Hudl ID.

After ini­tial pair­ing, swipe up on your iOS device, and tap the Bluetooth icon on/​off and con­nect to the remote.

  3. Swipe to the right to turn on Bluetooth.
