Prepare for Video Pull

These steps are meant to pre­pare you for a remote ses­sion. Only use them when Hudl Support has instruct­ed you to do so.

If you’re unable to down­load the pro­grams list­ed below, it’s like­ly you’ll need to talk to your IT staff to get admin­is­tra­tive rights for your com­put­er. You will also need admin­is­tra­tive rights when you con­tact support.

  1. Click here to down­load iExplorer. Once on the page, select Download for macOS or Download for Windows.

  2. Open the down­load once it has completed.

  3. Follow the prompts to fin­ish installing.

  4. Open iExplorer.

  5. Click here to down­load iTunes. Once on the page, click Download.

  6. Open the down­load once it has completed.

  7. If you’re on a Mac com­put­er, select Install iTunes and com­plete the instal­la­tion process. If you’re on a Windows com­put­er, fol­low the prompts to fin­ish installing.

  8. Grab the iPad or iPhone you record­ed on, and use a cord con­nect it to your com­put­er. The charg­ing cord usu­al­ly works for this.

  9. Open iTunes.

  10. Tap Trust on your iPad or iPhone to allow it to con­nect to the computer. 

  11. Select the device icon.

  12. Select This com­put­er under Automatically Back Up.

  13. Click Back Up Now.

  14. If prompt­ed, enter the pass­word used to pro­tect your device back­up and click Set Password. Keep track of this password.

  15. Once you’ve com­plet­ed all steps above, call Hudl Support. To find the num­ber, log in to your Hudl account on the com­put­er, then hov­er over your name and click Get Help.
