Who: Sam Gordon, youth football player

The Story: Gordon burst onto the scene in 2012 when her dad uploaded a highlight video to YouTube that would eventually capture the imagination of sports fans everywhere. Four years later and Gordon is still inspiring athletes of all ages by pushing girls to play sports, educating fans about the future of sports, and by leveraging her notoriety for opportunities like reporting from the Super Bowl

Despite the recognition she’s received, Gordon still believes nothing beats the camaraderie of being part of a team.

“I love being on a team. If you get the right friends on your team, you get an awesome coach and it’s a sport you enjoy, it’s just the best experience ever. I love working together and celebrating.” – Sam Gordon
